User Hierarchy​ Management

This guide details how to configure your Company’s User Hierarchy.

Overview

Our User Hierarchy functionality empowers administrators to efficiently manage their users within the Second Nature platform. Admins can add and edit users through two methods: automatic integration with existing systems for bulk updates, or manual entry for individual adjustments. This ensures accurate user hierarchies and streamlined access control, regardless of organization size or complexity.

Automatic Hierarchy Sync

Automatic synchronization of company hierarchy is available through integration between your organization's existing hierarchy platform and Second Nature. We offer support for the following integration options:

  • SCIM

  • Okta

  • Litmos

  • SFTP

  • HTTP

Please reach out to support@secondnature.ai if you would like to sync your Second Nature account using one of our secure file transfer methods.


Manual Hierarchy Upload

Administrators can manually upload the company hierarchy using a CSV through the Account Settings page. For a detailed guide on this process, please refer to “Inviting New Users to Second Nature Using a CSV file”.


User Registration Management​

New users can be registered to the Second Nature platform through three different methods:

  1. Manual registration: Add users individually.

  2. Bulk registration: Adding multiple users at once.

  3. SSO integration: By configuring a company SSO, different users can log in to Second Nature without the need to be invited.

NOTE:

Admins can register new users during the update of the company’s hierarchy.
